Bernadette Pino – Traditional Santera
Bernadette has traveled the world learning her skills. After studying Architectural Design in Aix en Provence, France she was fortunate to work with renowned international architect Phil Hawes on the Hotel Vajra project in Kathmandu Nepal for a number of years.
She then moved to New Delhi, India, where she met renowned artist, Manjit Bawa, who has since passed. She studied with him on and off for many years. They enjoyed painting together as they were great friends. She considered those painting sessions a time of learning. She had several exhibitions in New Delhi.
Upon returning to the USA she met Raul Goler, and Art Restorer who also dealt in Spanish Colonial artifacts. They traveled extensively on buying trips and while home Bernadette learned how to carve statues and create Spanish Colonial Retablos and Alter Screens.
Upcoming 2020 shows at The Harwood Museum and Spanish Market.
