An Arizona native, Peggy Immel remembers always painting. She took her first oil class at ten in Salina, Kansas. Later she studied architecture at ASU, took painting classes at major New England art schools and workshops with admired artists. While living in Boston she became a rock and ice climber, a turning point where nature and adventure became her muse. Moving to Taos brought her back to her southwestern roots where her landscapes are inspired by her love of the outdoors and Taos’ exotic beauty. Peggy Immel’s work is represented exclusively in Taos by Wilder Nightingale Fine Art
